Q:	What is FNB Online Banking?
A:	With Online Banking, you can view transactions, account balances, issue stop payments, and even transfer funds between accounts. You can also download transaction information into Microsoft Money, or a spreadsheet.
Q:	How much does Online Banking cost?
A:	Online Banking is provided at no cost to any First National Bank customer.
Q:	How do I sign up for Online Banking?
A:	You must be a First National Bank customer to use Online Banking. You can fill out our Online Banking Application from your computer, print, and bring to any one of our First National Bank offices to open your account. We also have applications available at our offices as well. We will be happy to do this application process for you.
Security
Q:	How secure is my financial information?
A:	We have extremely high criteria to guarantee the security of your banking information online. A few of these are listed below: Your banking information never travels the Internet without encryption protection. Login sessions have a time-out limit. Once your Online Banking session has been inactive for 10 minutes, you will automatically be logged off of the system. PIN guessing is deterred and reported. Internet security is not a once and for all task. We are constantly developing and implementing security enhancements to ensure the integrity of our Internet Banking system.
Q:	Why does it say that my account is locked? What do I do now?
A:	Your account becomes locked after three unsuccessful login attempts. You will need to come to any one of our First National Bank offices to have your account “unlocked”.
Q:	What if I forget my ID and Password?
A:	If you lose or forget your ID or Password, you will need to come to any one of our First National Bank offices. After confirming your identity, we will be happy to assist you.
Q:	What happens if I open an account after I start using FNB Online Banking?
A:	You will need to ask your Customer Service Representative to have your new account added.
FNB Online Bill Pay
Q:	How does Online Bill Pay work?
A:	Tired of writing checks? With Online Bill Pay, you can pay all of your bills electronically, set up future and repeat payments, and check the status of your payments.   Payments are made electronically whenever possible. If the merchant you are paying does not accept electronic payments, a paper check is automatically prepared and mailed to them.
Q:	How much does FNB Online Bill Pay cost?
A:	Bill Pay is provided at no cost to any First National Bank customer.
Q:	How do I sign up for FNB Online Bill Pay?
A:	You must meet the following criteria to use the service: Be a First National Bank customer with one of our savings or checking accounts. Be enrolled in FNB Online Banking. Visit any one of our First National Bank offices to add this service to your FNB Online Banking account.
Q:	Are there any merchants that I cannot pay through the FNB Online Bill Pay service?
A:	No. Any merchant that is in the electronic data base can be paid electronically. If a merchant is not on the list you may send the payment as a check.
Q:	Are there minimum and maximum payment amounts?
A:	Electronic payments are validated against the account balance prior to processing, and check payments settle against your account like any other check, therefore, there is no dollar limitation on payments made through Bill Pay. You are limited only by the amount of funds in your account.
Q:	What if I do not have enough money in my account?
A:	CHECK payments are handled in the same manner as a check written out of your checkbook against an insufficient balance. ELECTRONIC payments are verified for funds availability during processing. If the funds are not available, the payment will not be processed and you will receive a message to inform you that the payment could not be sent due to insufficient funds. Each day the payment will be resubmitted for you until either you delete the payment all together or the funds are in the account to make the payment.
Q:	How far in advance should I set up a payment to ensure it is paid on time?
A:	To ensure that payment is properly credited to your account prior to the payment due date, please allow five business days for electronic payments and seven business days for paper checks from the date payment is submitted for your payment to reach the merchant or vendor.
Q:	When will the money be taken out of my account?
A:	For an ELECTRONIC PAYMENT, funds are debited the same day that the payment is sent, providing it is sent by 1:00 p.m. EST. Electronic payments submitted after 1:00 p.m. EST are debited the next day during bill pay processing. CHECK payment funds are debited from the account when the check is presented for processing at the bank.
Q:	How late in the day can I enter, edit, or delete a payment?
A:	You may add, edit, or delete a payment up to 3:00 a.m. EST on the day the payment is scheduled to be sent. If a same day payment is submitted between 3:00 a.m. EST and 1:00 p.m. EST it may be edited up until 1:00 p.m. EST.
Q:	How many payees may I have set up?
A:	There is no limit to the amount of payees you can set up.
Q:	Can I edit payees addresses?
A:	No. Once an address is entered it stays with that payee. If you need to change an address it will be necessary to recreate the payee using the new address.
Q:	What happens if I have a scheduled payment that falls over a weekend or holiday?
A:	If a scheduled payment falls on a holiday or weekend, it will be paid on the Friday before the weekend or the last working day before the holiday. Payments entered on a weekend or holiday will be processed the next business day.
Q:	What payment frequencies are available?
A:	You can set up payments in any of the following frequencies: Weekly Bi-weekly Monthly Semi-monthly Quarterly Annually Semi-annually
Q:	Can I schedule recurring payments?
A:	Yes. You may schedule both one-time and recurring payments.
Q:	When can you edit the dollar amount on a scheduled recurring payment?
A:	You may edit the dollar amount the next business day after the scheduled payment date.
Q:	Will the memo field that I fill out when setting up a payment be passed on to the payee?
A:	Yes, your memo will appear on paper check bill payments. The memo field is 40 characters long. Any amount over 40 characters will be cut off.
